Wonder Forge Disney Villainous Strategy Board Game
Today I want to write about my experience of playing Disney Villainous game.
at first, when I looked at the box the first thing which came to my mind was the Disney descendants Movie, So I got curious and I picked it up and decided to give it a try.
the box has a dark green color which is the color which they usually use for Villains with some golden chick decoration and a Gothic font, and the shadow of Maleficent.

the box has a dark green color which is the color which they usually use for Villains with some golden chick decoration and a Gothic font, and the shadow of Maleficent.
you can play as the villain in this game and there are some main villains which you get to choose from them, (Captain Hook, Jafar, Maleficent, Prince John, Queen of Hearts, Ursula)
when you choose your Villain, you get this fancy card which has a quote of that villain on it, for example, Jafar card " Finally, you will bow to me" and when you open the card, its like your own board and you have your own goal to achieve which is different from other Villains, but they way you Compete is that you have to get your goal faster and try to use some of the rules and cards to stop them .
the six villains are from classic Villains and they come with movers figure which is not exactly the figure but its a clear symbolic figure which has some main features of the villain and you can easily recognize which one is which one, and I really love the creativity of designing the movers.
we have villain Decks, fate Decks and Villain Guides, and Reference cards.
So I chose my favorite Villain Prince John, and my husband chose Jafar.
my goal was to achieve 20 coins which at first look easy cause when you move on your turn on the board you get coins but later I lose them cause for using each action card, like hero or effect and ... I need to pay for that card with my coins.
and Jafar goal was to have the Magic Lamp at sultan's palace and Genie under his control.
so each player has
hero cards, which they make you trouble and I was unlucky cause I got Maid Marian Hero, and when I defeated her, automatically Robin Hood will be added to my board and I have to defeat him
Ally Cards which you use to fight against hero cards.
effect cards which make you more or less powerful
we also have item and condition cards which make it more complicated and sometimes exciting.
the game is fun but because you have your own goals, sometimes you cant feel that Competition with other villains cause you don't understand how good or bad they are doing and how far they are from their goals. also, I felt my Goal was so much harder than Jafar's Goal.
but I love that you can think and use some strategies and I loved that during the game its like you are watching all those animations all over again and pausing on different scenes and paying more attention to details.
overall it's a fun game especially if you are a Disney fan, its fun not to be the prince and princes this time and to have a chance to play as the Villains.
