Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie DTV Non-Spoiler Initial Thoughts and Review

thanks to Warner Brothers home video, we actually got to watch Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and wow, it was amazing.
This was exactly what I wanted to be.when they first announced this movie, part of me was a little worried, for few things:
1) I thought it might be exactly the same retelling comic book series that they did a few years ago when Batman met Ninja Turtles.
This movie is based on that but it's not the same exact thing, there are some key Scenes that are in this movie but it doesn't follow the comic exactly, which is great because it keeps the surprises going.
2)how they are going to present this movie, as you know Warner Brothers direct a lot of movies, a lot of DC, Scooby Doo, and ..so I was worried the quality will be more like Scooby Doo, or Dc side? it is actually very cool because its closer to Dc movies, this movie is rated PG-13.
this movie has more violent than any other live actions ninja turtles movies.there is actually blood., we see killing.
violent wise, it matches with other DC movies. I would strongly caution, if you want to show this to children, especially those who love Ninja Turtles, and those who watch Rise of Ninja Turtles, watch it yourself, before showing it to them.
it is not as intense as other Dc, but it is much more than any other Ninja Turtles Movies out there.
I really like character designs, even though they are very different from what we saw in other Ninja Turtles Series. this one is very simple, very reminiscence like Justice league and Super Man animated series, or even the new Batman animated series.
In fact Raphael kind of look like the big fisherman guy from Superman.
what I really liked what they did with the turtles is that they are going with the trend that Viacom has been going with ever since 2012, where the turtles all have their unique look, so they are not just copy and paste, or that awful headband switch moments that we have from 1987 cartoon.
something I really like, not only I grow up Ninja Turtles, I also grow up with Batman animated series. the voice work of this movie really reminded me of Batman Animated series, Troy Baker, he doses the voice of Batman and Joker, and this is actually the first time, ever in an animated movie, they let the same guy be the voice actor of Batman and Joker at the same time., in fact Troy Baker voiced Joker before in another directed video Assault on  Arkham", he also voiced Joker in the video game "Arkham Origins"
now what he does is really cool, when he voices Batman, he sounds so much like Kevin Conroy, and he does that persona in voice really well. And when he goes into Joker, he makes him sounds like Mark Hamill, and it still sounds pretty good but nowhere near as good as Kevin Conroy. but most importantly it's hard to tell that it was the same voice in two different characters.
the voice of the Turtles is actually really great. Leonardo voiced by Eric Bauza who voiced Tiger Claw from the 2012 series and currently voicing Splinter from" Rise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".I was worried he gets a thick accent but he doesn't honestly, at one point I forgot that was the same voice of two characters, Specially tiger Claw and Splinter sound so much alike. thankfully Leonardo doesn't sound either of those. The voice actor of Mikey is perfect, exactly the way Mikey should be.
