.Charshanbe Suri, is a traditional ceremony in Iran (Persia) which mentioned in the Shahname (old well known poem mythical book of Persia). Charshanbe means Wednesday and Suri means ceremony, so this is the ceremony which held on the last Wednesday of the year, and people make fire and jump over it and sing , and the symbolic sing means that they give their sickness and problems to fire and get all good energies for the next year and new year. They usually eat sweet nuts in this day.
